The same time of "birth" as rustic wreath with oat. This shape is stylized on the pattern of the sun.
This time I would like to also keep some memory of summer time and sunny days - barley around gives sun-rays.
Material I used to made it:
- linen thread
- round basis of polystyrene
- a lot of cut pieces of wood dried twigs
- pieces of barley and wheat (it would be better to have more than one pcs)
- hot glue, necessary tools
This wreath wasn't so complicated to do it, too. First plan it was to use jute thread. I like such kind of material, because it's looking natural and raw at the same time. Also a little rustic.
Polystyrene was braided by linen thread as You can see on the picture. I used here normal linen thread. It was more work with wreath because of thread which was thinner than jute.
Next step was fixing cut pieces of wood to the basis which was already finished by linen thread.
The last step which I to do was decorating by barley and some more wheat. Harvest time is actually finished by my area that's why I found only one wheat looking nice.
What kind is Your style?
