Volcanic stone is the history which was always behind my mind. Few years ago it began from the time I've got this nice stone from my the best Aunt.

It was the time that I loved a lot different kind of jewellery but I haven't done any by myself. Until few years after and same few years ago :)

Few years ago when I wasn't busy with doing any kind of jewellery I was looking for some craftsman - goldsmith who is able to protect the stone and surround by a silver rim to hung on the silver chain. I was afraid of option they told me :) I sill wanted to have nice and delicate stone. So that’s why I was waiting long time to find how to do it. From time I knew methods to make jewellery using resin I was trying for few other things. In the end I risks to make it by myself in resin using my volcano stone.

• first off all - two smaller pieces I broke into smaller pieces and I fluted them in silver ear wires to make earrings as in the end are on the pictures in this article.
• second pending - using tweezers I dipped few times the stone in resin, each dip with pause for few minutes to be sure that every part will be protected by resin. I know that pendant can be in different situation and I didn't wanted to break it in nearly situation. After dipping I put in a small plastic form until will dry. Important to put in such position to give the opportunity to remove unnecessary amounts of resin, however, not to stick to the mold.
  
• third pendant - silver frame and chain in silver colour.

 I was looking on different pages but I've never found it how to finally do it. So I'm rally happy and proud that I've done the pendant as some other people do in the end. Probably people which are doing more of such as things.
