Multi-grade  wreath, was made almost with all things which we can find in the garden during beautiful autumn. The most important elements in this case are acorns caps.

I've made this at the beginning of last winter. I'm presenting this now to You, because it can be a good time to have something like this on Your door after all special other wreath. It can be also a base for wreath a little changed, maybe with some spring flowers? It depends on You.

On the picture here below, ready wreath. But under that I wrote how to prepare something like this. I invite You to read it and look on it..

To prepare this wreath I used below elements (pict. 1.):

• the shells of nuts, pine cones, a lot of acorns caps, husks of pistachios

white and green paint, paintbrush

• to the base: thick (garden) wire, old newspapers, the white material

• decoration: green ribbon, glossy pearls of plastic

• hot glue, linen thread, scissors and pliers to wire

(pict. 2.) I've started with preparing base of wreath. I have cut the appropriate piece of wire. After that I made a circle, to making - this You have to remember that the right size is very important because than You have to also glue some other component of it.  Wire have to be connected very well, that it does not tore open. Loop to hang on the hook on the door - I've made in this step, because it comes more stable. I entwined wire using newspapers. I've made from them suitable length and obliquely I wrapped around a prepared construction. It is also very important, that paper will not come wrinkled and did not create inequality.

On the picture on the right You can see construction with old paper, fixed by linen thread. 

On the paper using hot glue, I glued white material. Why? Because at the end I want to paint this in white colour. If I will not use a white material I will get not nice clearances of colourful newspaper, there where paint will not reach for. I don't want it.

(pict. 3.) Now nice time to attached all elements which has to be "on the top". Using hot glue I fixed: acorns caps, husks of pistachios, shells of nuts and pine cones. The last one I put only in selected places, at equal distances. On the lower part of wreath will be green bow made of ribbon.

On the other side of wreath, acorns caps are not attached. Now can gently hung by the flat base of the wreath (not to scratch) on the door.

(pict. 4.) Hot glue fixed very fast, this gives possibility to wait a few minutes to continue next step. Which was painting on the white colour.

Few months earlier I painted wall in my flat, there for white paint I still have. Using paintbrush, I spread the paint after. Acorns caps has a nice woods colour, that’s why if somewhere white paint will not be very good painted it is not a problem, even can give a nice effect, chic. Something like a Vintage or Rustic style, Scandinavian style.

I was painting and I painted. I was waiting..., one day till white paint will be totally dry to go for next step.   

(pict. 5.) I still painted, but now only in selected place and only with a green paint - like You can see on the picture next to it.

After drying, I could attached white nice pearls and ribbon in the middle on the lower part.

After everything will dry -> wreath is ready -> see picture NO 6.
